last year while hunting i was working 2 longbeards. as soon as they came up over the flat into shooting range 4 jakes came at the same time from the left of me and they started fighting makeing all kinds noice they were all running around circles and stuf lol i managed to get a longbeard it wasnt easy but i got one they were about 15 yds away from me it was awesome

Seen it way more than once. A gang of jakes will run a gobbler out of town. Sometime I hate those teenage sobs. But they will mature and you can bust one in the face

I've seen it happen at least a handful of times.  More than once I ended up killing the gobbler that was chased off...maybe just a coincidence, but it's never been a young gobbler.  In my experience, it seems the big trophy longbeards end up with a bunch of jakes running with them for some reason.
