Ben Lee was a friend of a friend of mine.  He came to SE Okla and stayed in camp with us a few times. He carried a long old A5.  Guy could kill turkeys.

I attended one of his talks in Marion Il. that quote has stuck with me. The talk was about deer hunting but he did mention that "He hunted some turkeys too". If you ever get the chance watch Hunting the Rut with him and Don Bell not your modern day deer hunts

Welcome! All this talk about a turkey hunting "legend" that is gone, makes me realize that I have a friend in Virginia that I need to hunt with before time gets one of us. I intend to call him tomorrow.
