I live in North Alabama. I could possibly take a couple off his hands, if it is legal!! I am starting my man cave and the would be a nice start until I get my own.

If he does not need the money.,  Go to the local sports shop and have them displayed.  A donation with his name attached.  He can see them when he wants, he is given credit.  And the public gets to see.  Win in my book.

Along those lines I'm sure some sportsman's or rod and gun clubs would take them.

don`t need a deer head, but would gladly take that there flintlock off his hands 
smaller houses don`t need a fireplace , there will be no place to hang a nice piece like that anymore
would be a great addition for mine
