Wow that is a monster!
The addiction will cost you time and money and alienate those close to you. I can give you the names of a dozen addicts — myself included — whose wives begin to get their hackles up a week before turkey season starts and stay mad until a week after it closes.

Great bird. So glad you conquered the crappy season blues, I know you had to be getting low after all the junk. That is one heck of a bird to make up for it.

That's a HORSE!!
some of those shroom hunters are pretty cutthroat - I've seen guys walking around the woods shrooming that looked like they were ready for battle - 2 pistols and an AR on one guy - he didn't see me and he was armed to the teeth - didn't bother to introduce myself...
Glad your hard work and patience payed off.
Clementine and Pretty Peggy-O are fantastic names for the dekes! I had a pair named Delia and Stagger Lee a few years back...rollin' with Judas and Jezebel now.

Super nice gobbler
I didn't realize people took mushroom hunting so seriously.
Seems like you really had a rough season that paid off in the end.
There are two types of hunters; normal hunters and turkey hunters.
