Love to hunt the King of Spring!

HARDCORE

It's good stuff and it works.

My wife always tries to hide it from me come spring, this year she was too late.

I put it in my truck late December.  ;D

Stink,
They are talking about using it as a preservative, not for washing pickles.

Oh...never mind.    :morning:

I think you are correct.  The catalog says it has something added to preserve.

All I know is the difference in effect is pretty remarkable, I can tell what fans/beards have been done in Borax, and those done with Bora-Safe.....

I'm going to get me some and try it. I'm about out of Muleteam, anyhow..Thanks for the heads-up, Matt...
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

i love using 20 mule team borax, mostly cause it usually puts an end to a great morning!!

Frankinthelaurels

I did a complete skin back in the 80's and it's still in one piece hanging in my garage..guess it last a long time..

FYI.....I read somewhere if you have spiders in your basement, or elsewhaere for that matter, to put an open container of Mule Team Borax out and it keep them out.

Where can you find it??

You can find it at Walmart in the laundry detergent section.

I use a borax and non-iodized salt mixture for my beards, spurs, and fans.
In fall we rut, in spring we strut

mountman62

ziploc bag in my travel box all the time, most taxidermist use it everyday, some use other concoctions added to it, there are commercial preservatives available and i know they are a little better, but for the average Joe, the 20 mule team is all you need
It's not a passion, It's an OBSESSION
