so if i where to use an upright jake and a feeding hen, how should i place them? i was thinking jake facing the hen/me at 20 yards and a little to my right ( im a lefty) and a feeding hen quartering away from the jake 15 yards directly infront of me. i know i ask allot of dumbs questions but i just cant make up my mind and im still new to this.

I place mine 20 or so yards away and will put the pair within a few feet of each other. I try to face them looking away or side ways from where I think the bird will come from. 9 times out of 10 he will lock in on that jake and ignore the hen. As far as facing me, with a shotgun I don't worry about that, as long as I have a clear shot a few yards all the way around my set, I'm happy.
