Back in the day central Illinois coons got hammered with distemper, couldn't even find a track.  Turkey population exploded!

Last year some friends trapped over 300 just around a hunting lodge, turkey numbers are waay down!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
