I ordered a pair of the crispi lapponia boots love the boot. But fitment question is it presses up in the center of my front on inside curve. Can't try them outside in case I need to return. but I feel like it is stressing my foot if that makes sense. Anyone else have a flat foot like me and would changing insoles help. Just feel like it has to much arch built in.  I want to make them work but not sure I can. Quality of the boot makes me want to make them work. Maybe this is just with lapponia model. Not sure first time trying crispi boots.

Can't help on specifics, but I ordered Crispi boots last summer, going against my try on first rule, I wore them enough to know they were not going to work(blisters), luckily I sold them with not much loss.

My advice, if they do not feel good send em back!  Go somewhere that you can try on some boots, lot's of quality brands, Crispi are just the it boot right now.

I seemed to be between sizes and thicker insoles did not work!

My feet are flat and wide... I have a pair of GTX Thor's in 12.5 Wide. They fit perfectly.
I ran them for a season with the insoles they came with and other than feeling a little pain in the bottom of me feet from going up and down hills from the stiff sole, my feet were fine.
I've since put some Superfeet Trailblazer insoles inside the boots and they are a pleasure to wear.

Contact Black Orvis and talk to them. They are very helpful! I bought a pair of Wyoming to rabbit hunt in It is a good boot and I have to order a size 8 because I wear an orthotic so far so good the only thing is I wish I had ordered its big brother the Idaho just because it is a taller boot. One day I plan on it! They are stiffer boots with good support, just have to break in .

appreciate it guys. the boot quality is excellent. honestly its my first pair of good boots, so i may just not be used to the build. i will call black ovis

I ordered a pair of Crispi summits and lowa renegades from black Ovis. Both are quality boots, the Crispi done like you are talking about and felt like a ball under my right foot in the arch. Changed insoles to super feet trailblazers and had the same issue. Sent them back and kept the lowas. I cannot complain one but i put 4 miles on them the day after i got them and they are comfortable.

Crispis are great boots, but if they don't fit your foot, it ain't gonna work. Cheap, poor quality boots that fit well would be better than a high quality boot that doesn't fit well.

I have flat wide feet and I talked to the guys at bakershoe.com and they
got me into a pair of Lowa Ranger III GTX Wide that are superb.
They are extremely helpful and have every top of the line boot known
to man. You can ask them how one boot compares to another as far
as sizing, width, arch support, stiffness etc. Very knowledgeable folks.

Last fall I bought a pair of Nevadas in 9.5 at regular width.  I could not get comfortable in them.  So after talking to CS at Ovis I was talked into trying the Wyoming supposedly a little wider and more volume.  I did not find that much difference between the two boots.  The Wyomings are as stated but didn't make much difference as I still can only wear mid-weight socks.  The Wyomings are comfortable enough and do seem to be made well.  I have flat feet and I did start using Superfeet inserts but not much difference between those and oem.

I bought my first pair of Crispi's (the crossovers) to run this spring and early bow season in the fall. I found them to be true to size and were really comfortable out of the box.
Looking at Nevada's for rifle/muzzleloader, but I will be getting the wide for a little more room in the toe box for the heavy wool socks I always use.

Maybe I'm just not used to a boot with arch support. Use to cheaper boots with a  flat sole. I am hoping to stick with the lapponia and see if I get use to them

I have two pairs of crispi's. I have flat feet and it seems they compress my toes. Sometimes my pinky toe will go numb, and turn extremely red. I'm not sure if I need a wide version or what. I don't wear wide in any other boot.

Never owned cristi boots but Russell moccasins
I ordered them.and never looked back
In fact I like there snake boots so much and a lot of miles
I bought another pair of 8" boots with same outcome I love them.
