Gobbler/Jake yelp and cluck call recommendations....

Rohm Brothers makes a big slate at around 4" that's awesome for gobbler yelps and clucks. There's two on ebay right now. I have one in my vest at all times.

also have a Russel Beard "trash mouth hen" scratch box that has a great sounding gobbler/Jake cluck in it

Crow - I have that same scratch box, do you do anything special to bring out the gobbler/jake cluck on that box?

Or do you think the "normal" cluck that it makes sounds more like a gobbler/jake than a hen?  Thanks!

On my scratch box from Russell I get the deepest gobbler cluck by striking the center of the sound board against dead center on the striker, holding each slightly looser than you would for a normal cluck
