Birds here have started back gobbling, past 2 days they did pretty good. Set up first thing in some pine woods, but couldn't close the deal. Moved to a near by field at 8:30, 6 jakes and 1 long beard came into the field at 9:05....it took 2 hrs to get them in range, shot the gobbler and let the jakes go. They would gobble a little at my soft callin, but didn't really seem very interested in me. I'm seein groups of jakes.....next yr should be hot!!! I had a good mornin! weight 19lbs, 9" beard, 3/4" spurs
