Finished a batch of heavy cedar strikers.....they have a 2" piece of brass in the handle to give them a little more top weight.....the weight gives a better feel when playing, keeps it mellow, lets the soft yelps break over....and they purr like a champ!

I agree.....

But I've pondered the options at length....how I see it...

•with the flat rate box, you have the striker in 2 days (when I buy something, I want it NOW!)

•I know what ever I send is going to be in 1 piece and not get all smashed or dinged up (especially cedar)
no way I won't have a couple broken cedar strikers in a padded envelope.

•and....if you buy multiple.strikers...the additional ones won't have the added shipping charge.
I have a handful of others woods.

Hope that makes sense.
