Alright....I have been hunting this tract hard since opening day on the 15th.  The tract consist of a powerline, a pine hill and swamp.  This was my 7th hunt.  Me and a buddy hunted the tract on Tuesday and had 3 toms 50 yards BEHIND us just before they flew up on the roost.  SOO....I get set up yest morning around 620 right where the birds flew up to the roost on Tuesday....Sit there till 8 and not a peep.  I decided to head to the truck and grab a snack before I go wait for them to arrive on the powerline.  I decided to walk along the swamp and take the long route back to the truck.  I get about 40 yds from where I had been all morning and a bird hammers it, CLOSE.  I found a tree and sat.  Hit the call once and he fires up again.  A couple more minutes go buy and he is still hammering it and I could also tell he was getting close.  All of a sudden a head pops out....he stops...I hear another bird gobble!  I'm thinking double??  I smoke the first bird and his boy comes to check on him and I smoked him.  Then the two younger brothers (jakes) come and take a peak at what happened  .
