And at the end of it all........ I now have added one of the finest Lynch "Turkeys in the Pines" calls I've ever run across into my accumulation of boxcalls.

This one even included both the booklet and the little brochure that came with it PLUS the original envelope of chalk, chalk still in it !!!

Very happy to have made the drive through some beautiful countryside today and to cap it off by riding home with a smile on my face and a piece of history riding shotgun.

I'd love to post some.................

Still in the process of dumping Photobucket's lame product and getting my new Flickr account up and operational.

THAT'S a good find !!!!!

From what I have read, Lynch tuned each and every call and was a stickler for them sounding right.  If they didn't, he'd turn the soundboards around to the inside and set the call aside but keep it rather than junk it.  So I would guess that an inside-out TitP Lynch would be quite a rare bird (all puns regrettably intended) indeed !!!!

They told me in Nashville that they had never seen one. I do beleive that there was one sold on ebay last year but dont remember what it went for.

I checked Google maps, your trip was only 17 miles each way. But, I guess if you never turn left, 360 miles it is.

Congrats on the new addition, anxious to hear more about it!
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409
