Congrats Preacher!!!!!!!
OK.....I gotta know....Did he shoot straight on in full strutt or just pick out the ugliest bird in the flock? I've never shot one straight on in strut, but I have shot the ugliest bird in the flock before, except he was missing a couple tail feathers on one side as well as those in the center and when I shot him he went down in the mud..........looked a lot like Preacher's bird.

Nice bird, Preacher. Looks like he took a load of shot to the fan. Was he shot from behind, or did he duck on the first shot? Or was it the ol' ''step on the tail to keep him from getting away'' trick? Either way, he is a beauty..Kudo's on the owl calling as well. You are a natural..Now we need to hear the story..Well done..Mike
May I assume you're not here to inquire about the alcohol or the tobacco?

I shot hm in the head, it was the flooping stomping and mudholes that messed up his fan, he had a DELAYED FLOP , stayed still as a board untill I got him back and layed him down to pick up my slate-call. Whoop-lash thought he was going to get away and the exciement began.

Nice. Congrats.
As long as the meat doesn't get mud on it, you're good to go
