Anyone have the new model .45 Delrin?  How does it compare to others and how do you like it?  Any advantages to Delrin over wood?

I do. It's one of my favorites. To my ears the Delrin is pretty crisp in it's sound, it also plays very easily. I also prefer it on rainy days, although I'm sure wood is fine.

I love the model 45, so much so I have three. One Delrin and two wood. I agree the Delrin is more crisp. You cannot go wrong with this call. Sounds great and craftsmanship is top notch. Mine have been responsible for the demise of a few birds.

Thanks guys. What is the difference in the new model versus the original?

No old delrin model. That's just the name (new .45)Ralph chose for these .

What I meant to say is what's the difference in the Delrin classic versus the new model .45?

I know the .45 is medium pitched and the other is high pitched. Classic is an inch shorter.

Thank you, that's the info I wanted.
