Little lady luck this morning. Not a monster but a decent 2 yr old. 3/4" spur 7.5" beard, 17#.

Congrats!! Always feels good to get that first tag filled!!! I lucked into a nice NY gobbler myself yesterday.They've been tough to hunt the last 3 days though.All the birds I've been after are still henned up and have been quiet after 6:30a.m.Typical early season.

Glad to see other NY'ers having some luck. Called in yesterday 2 groups of jakes, and that was it!!! Went out this morning, and the woods was quiet as a church!!!
