Late season a Turkey Hunting, TN edition. Any suggestions ?..

Last weekend of the season coming up, we have basically had two very dry weeks. Looks like. Will get rain this Friday night through Sunday evening. To me, that spells great field turkey hunting. But this late in the season, kinda hoping the hens have begun to break off to lay the eggs and the Jakes/toms are searching for another female. Any suggestions on how to hunt the late spring season?

I have had more action in deep timber in east Tn the last few weeks. Most fields I hunt have not been cut for hay and is waste high.
