Information on Hunting in Wyoming

Im from Louisiana and am seeking some information from someone who's from wyoming. Im looking to make a hunt possibly in Wyoming next year. Looking to hit some public land. I gandered at the Wyoming game and fish site but its a tad bit confusing. Thanks for the help.
