Dymondwood, osage and maple.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself. It just needs someone to carry it around the woods.

I use a pot call the least out of all my calls. I'm a box call and mouth call guy. I carry one pot and a few strikers. I have a cedar and purple heart that I like the best
