Hi guys.  I'm I the market for a new fiber optic sight.  I've shot the TruGlo products for a long time and would like to stay with them.  I'm currently looking at the Pro-Series Magnum Gobble Dot or the Pro-Series Magnum Gobble Dot Xtreme.  Does anybody highly recommend one over the other?  I don't need anything fancy, I just want something that is going to work and last a while.  The Xtreme model is about half the price but doesn't look as robust as the other one.

noisy box call that seems to sound like a flock of juvenile hens pecking their way through a wheat field

Thanks guys.  For the TG944A Do I have to remove the bead at the end of the barrel to install the front portion of the sight or can I just install it directly in front (towards the action) of the bead and leave the bead installed?

Also how do the front and rear pieces attach to the rib... snap? stick? magnet?

Thanks for the info and feedback.

I have the Xtreme sights on my 835. They attach by magnet and you do not have to remove the front brad sight to use it. Probably a better idea to leave the bead on in fact as it will act as a stop to avoid letting the front sight come off.

FOR THE 944a YOU CAN LEAVE THE BEAD ON AND SET THE FRONT SIGHT DIRECTLY BEHIND IT IF YOU WANT TO.

THEY ATTACH WITH SMALL ALLEN HEAD SET SCREWS INTO THE SIDE OF YOUR RIB...THAT'S WHY THEY STAY IN PLACE.  I HAVE THEM ON TWO OF MY TURKEY GUNS.

Thanks for the information guys!  Looks like I'll be giving the TG944A a try this spring and see how it goes.
