Doubled with a friend on my birthday

I had just put the new patch on my vest the night before.  Guess it really is good luck!

We were set up in the back field, well hidden under a cedar tree.  Made a few calls and had hens answering me off to our right.  then out of no where 3 long beards crested the hill and saw the DSD decoys and were committed.  We did the 1...2...3... BOOM count and then thanked the good Lord.

His bird was 22.5LBS, 11" beard, 1" spurs
Mine was 21.5LBS, 11" beard, 1.25" spurs

That was my 2nd bird of the year here in Tn
