that load is about 25 pellets light    3"  1 3/4oz 6,s
Some post recently on here with 3 1/2" showed around 25 or so heavy, others claim more than 2 oz. :toothy9:       Not  HATING JUST WONDERING.???
But if your ticked :  give me a 41 yard head start    :TooFunny:

Its a touch low for my count sheet avgs.  of 384 in 1.75 ounces but not horrible.  Must be that buffer stuff taking up the rest?...

How is it light?  It's common knowledge that the resin is part of the 1.75 oz.

Ding ding ding. We have a winner.

Oh didn't know it was common knowledge , read it i think once but didn't
say they knew it for sure.
So what do you think about the 3 1/2" shooters that got more shot in their patterns than the 2 oz????

I haven't seen that posted anywhere.

A variation of 5-10 pellets per advertized ounce is not a big deal imo so 10-20 +/- in a 2 ounce load is not going to ruin my day at all and the birds surely won't notice...

Posted in finally got to try on Feb 9, total shot count around 25 over. Not even adding the resin weight yet.

Others claim up to 75 pellets in the other posts which led to this.
Could this be why the 3 1/2 have 50-75 more in the ten for just 1/4 ounce payload of 56 number 6 shot?
And the resin looks different at the shot?
What do you all think?

Yes this is a great load which is why i bought 3 boxes to try. :icon_thumright:

Alright I'm measuring pellets now.  I randomly selected 10.  A #6 should be .110, these 10 are:

.116
.105
.109
.108
.102
.124
.127
.107
.1065
.109

Avg= .11135  Sounds pretty normal to me.

Not so according to Senior Product Manager Brad Criner of Olin Winchester Ammunition.  I spoke with him on the telephone last week and asked him about that.  He said that the wads they are using in both the 3" and 3.5" shell allow for 1.75 and 2 ounces of shot and the resin.  He went on to say that there is absolutely no truth to that rumor.

Punisher

I thought that was common knowledge SKFOOTER.  LOL.   ;D
