I am looking for suggestions for a set of strikers I am gonna make myself for next year?
I have pot calls that are slate, glass, ceramic and aluminum.

Also where do you guys buy your wood?

I have in mind 1. Osage Orange
                     2. Hickory
                     3. Yellow Heart
                     4.
                     5.

           Thanks John

I like to use bloodwood, padauk, and bubinga + a few you mentioned. Try different ones till you find what works best for you!

One of my personal current interests is nest predators and how a majority of hunters, where legal bait to the extent of chumming coons.  However once they get the predators concentrated they don't control them.
