I had just got home from a work trip to Iowa, I did a few chores and got the mail, there was a mailing tube in the mail
The tube was opened
The young black lab put his nose into the tube and smelled something
I opened the rolled up paper and started to choke up there before my eyes was a picture of my granddaughter and the old yellow lab I had to put down a few weeks ago.
I was home alone at that time and was just speechless, when my wife got home she was just as astounded.
What a great gift from a great man.
This also hapened to be my granddaughter's 10th birthday.
