Trevor if you don't get out in the woods you are gonna regret it.
Not for the team but for you. IT IS VERY HARD, I know.
I look forward to the start of season, any season, deer, archery, turkey. Then after I have done all the hard work, game cameras and scouting, cutting shooting lanes, hanging stands, sighting in, finding new spots; After 2 or 3 days of hard hunting I am ready to give up.
If I am not seeing or hearing anything I think I should be home with my family and spending time with them. When I am at home with them I am thinking about hunting and wishing I was out there.

Hunting season is to short. If you need a break, sleep in and get after them a little later.

Just keep trying man! I didnt score till yesterday. In most areas the hunting is going to get better from now till the end of season whith more hens going on the nest.

Have to keep after it man.  my previous three season had been tough, with one year ending with no bird after 19 hunts.  Knock back a few cold ones, get to bed at a decent time and enjoy the time in the outdoors.  Good luck!

I am with you Trevor. I have been having a really crappy season and it is getting really discouraging. I have been chasing the same freakin bird for three days and just can't seal the deal. Yesterday I fell in a creek up to my nether regions trying to get closer to him. I just can't win with this year. I don't have any where else to hunt other than public land that has seen a great deal of pressure already this season because we have very little public land to hunt. I told my wife yesterday as I walked in the house dripping wet that I was just going to make calls and quite turkey hunting. She promptly told me that would be one of the biggest mistakes I could make. She reminded me that it is not always just about getting a bird. It is about the enjoyment of being outside and enjoying everything that our heavenly father has given us. She is a very wise women. I am taking today off and tomorrow morning so I can go to church and then it is back to the woods tomorrow afternoon and Monday. If I kill that bird that will just be the bonus

Woodwzrd. Sounds like you got a great wife. If it was that easy, we probably would not do it.
If I was you I would find another bird to work, I have named a bird Einstein and gave up on him after 3 or 4 days of hunting him.
After wasting the time hunting him, I realized some birds are too smart.
Try a new area, maybe you can get on a 2 year old.

I have had plenty of years getting discouraged, It is good to know that others struggle with the same thing. Like you said just stay at it. And keep the nether region dry, that's no fun when you get wet there with cold water.
