My next turkey set up

Still waiting another 9 days before my trip to SW Kansas to chase Rios.  Have decided to use a different gun and using the traveling call has forced me to put a call together.  Gun I will be using is my 16 ga O/U, loaded a few rounds of HW #7 and got pretty good patterns.  I bought the parts for this call to get a understanding of how they go together, in the future I hope to build one completely myself.

Nice looking set-up.  I've considered going the O/U route but have a friend that uses one and when he shoots real tight patterns the two barrels have slightly different POI's which makes me nervous to go that route. 
Do both of your barrels have the same POI?

Both this gun and my camo 12 have similar POI between the 2 barrels.  In my 12 I have a KICKS High Flyer MOD in the 2nd barrel.  Was amazed at the patterns it gave me, not as tight as the 1st barrel which has a Undertaker XT HD, but very consistent and even.  in the 16 I have a factory mod in 2nd barrel.  I feel it may help with running shots if needed or in thick woods.

Sounds like that should work!  I'd love to be able to have a more open option but the POI thing has me nervous and I'm not willing to use a more open choke when I only have one barrel.  May need to play with an O/U during the off season.
Either way I'll stick with the 20ga.
