Man you guys have me excited.  We don't start here until late April and I'm starting to freak out.  Due to the weather, the woods are greening up fast.  I've heard that birds are gobbling all ready and we have twenty-some days to go.

Don't be too worried ours started gobbling one month at least before season but after chasing them I have realized there right on schedule. I was a bit worried myself

1 week from tomorrow I will finally get to chase birds for myself.  Still get a few more trips with my nephew.  Found out today that he gets Friday and Monday off from school because they didn't have any snow days this year.  Along with a youth hunt he was drawn for on Saturday, it's gonna be a busy weekend.

Went out today for my Special Opportunity hunt. Had one gobbling in the morning but the hens must have taken him away.
About 10:00 am I had 3 hens come out and beat up on Delilah, my DSD hen decoy. After playing with them for about 10 minutes had a Tom come to check things out, he gobbled about for times, but never came in close enough. Then the hens left.
I will be back out there in the morning. I moved my set up to where I think they will be traveling by, So we shall see in the morning.
