I'm just looking for some new meal ideas when I'm on the road hunting. Try to camp/live out of my car as much as possible. Typically I just live on sandwiches but I'm looking to diversify this year. I'll have a small blackstone griddle along this year. What do you guys that travel a lot like to eat that isn't fast food?

I generally eat a lot of turkey. Always have a small griddle for fajitas and eggs. Also a one burner cooker and a cast iron pot for frying turkey nuggets and morels. That might be a little more than what you would want to haul around but it works great for myself.

Steak, bratwurst, fried or seared duck, pre-cooked pasta for spaghetti, macaroni salad, bag lettuce and pre cooked grilled chicken breasts to name a few. I keep my Coleman two burner stove and a stocked cooler in the truck. I try and prep a day or two before I head out

I'm usually a minimalist living off the tailgate. From my hiking days, I've got one of those little butane canister stoves...works well. Breakfast is simple...cup of coffee and granola bar or such. One meal a day...MREs work great and quite a variety.
