Heard my first gobble of 2026.
Weird.... I am CERTAIN that I was within earshot of 8-10 longbeards. But, only heard one bird gobble 3 times and another gobble once. Heard a decent amount of hen talk right where the gobblers were. Beautiful morning. Good conditions. But, the boys just weren't feelin' it for whatever reason.
