We are Blessed to be in the woods every season and should take the time to remember those that have passed on or can't make it out due to health issues. To ALL of those that don't get into the Field this spring, you are in our thoughts and prayers!

RIP Clark and Hunter22, class act and a fountain of knowledge mr bush was. I have killed turkeys because of the help Clark provided me personally.
don't let the truth get in the way of a good story

AMEM RIP. Watch over us and relish in our achievements and laugh at our failures.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, tired, beat, thoroughly used up and totally worn out from chasing turkeys and loudly proclaiming; "WOW -- What a Ride!"

One of the first non production calls I bought was a Lyman aluminum on the advice of Ricky. He was first class and helped a guy who knew nothing about custom calls get started buying some. Pappy is also one that I remember fondly, every spring I carry an all cedar scratchbox he made me.

Some really nice folks have graced this community over the years , for that we are all grateful - Unfortunately some have moved on to the better place upstairs - I have to admit I catch myself reflecting back on my shared experiences , posts , visits, and phone conservations - also of my turkey hunting family that is long passed - when I am in the shop , long drives , and peaceful mornings in the turkey woods- its impossible not to think back about all these people that made up my personal life experience ...and I am sure the rest of you can relate
Some many years ago a very good childhood friend of mine that I still constantly hunt with turned to me and said when we were sitting in a turkey hunting camp , around a campfire with oak logs glowing in the dark , he asked me " what do you think your dad would have thought about OLDGOBBLER?" we knew each other very well even my father (Richard Kelly who is burried head to toe in camouflage).... who has now passed on almost 28 years ago ...we all know what the answer was ...but for demonstrative purposes ..I uttered what he was thinking , what we all knew but had to verbally confirm ...i said "he would have loved it "
It is a PRIVILEGE to be friends with you all -
This spring , I will go into the turkey woods and do what the general public will never understand , but EVERYONE here has ingrained in thier DNA and that is go and shoot some gobblers ,
I'm sure some of you can understand the experience on stepping on the neck of a thrashing gobbler, look around in elation at the moment and think how great this is , and instantly think about your missing loved ones... buddies ...and somehow , someway hope they "saw that" from upstairs ...

Clark was a first-rate gentleman. Many time I chatted with him about chokes and shells.
Don't gobble at me...
