Very rare wood- Black Mangrove wood trumpet by Matt McLain. I have personally only seen one other call ever with this wood. Stainless ferrule and a Camel Bone MP. Just a beautiful trumpet and plays super easy.
On the side of the barrel, It has what looks so much like part of a Gobbler head in full strut. And the eye looks so real that you almost expect it to blink. Think of a Tom in strut with the front of his face and beak shaved off and then you see it. This call plays really well, but it draws just slightly different from the two main Trumpet makers that I am hunting - so I am going to let it go. And it pains me to do so as it is a fine instrument.
