Vent Rib Mount on Auto-5?

I have a Belgian Browning Auto-5 with a 24" barrel and a brass bead (takes the Small Diameter choke tubes). I was thinking about using a red dot optic, mounted to either a Meadow Creek or Warne vent rib style mount. Would this be a bad idea due to the reciprocating barrel movement unique to this gun? I envision the red dot shearing off after the first shot fired, lol.I posted a photo of the gun in question.
