During turkey season I always take time to pick some ramps after the hunt. I like to forage. I then make leek potatoes soup for family and friends. After season I hit the trout streams. I always have something  going on in the outdoors.

You just see so many things while turkey hunting.  Moving around, getting to really see the land and woods.
I've encountered bobcats, coyotes, a bear, even called up a cow elk in E. TN once.  And you see these things up close.
That's not to mention the huge variety of birds, butterflies, alligators and smaller creatures that you see.  Traveling to turkey hunt is a blast.  There are so many different terrains that hold turkeys, it's addicting to try and see them all.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!

I have seen some of the most beautiful sun rises. On the fun side side of things deer, pigs, and several types of birds. On the other side a rattlesnake or two. Probably the most fun thing is watching grey squirrels play and run
