Yoder Toter !!!

The good Lord ain't made a gobbler I can't kill.  I just gotta be there at the right time.....  on the day he wants to die.

Why not, I have about 130-140 I'd guess and growing. It can be addicting as many others on here know....

Purpleheart over anything is generally louder and sharper, while a Sapele over Ambrosia Maple is toned down and easier to call softer on. Same with Heart Pine. I keep 2-3 on me when I hunt and just see what the turkey wants to hear because they all sound different! Once I kill a bird with one I retire it and move to a different one.

well what you know.  how do Mr. New

So a tourist stops by and asks a farmer, who's sitting under a shade tree while surveying a valley full of cows,"Sir just why do you need sooo many cows ?" The farmer calmly replies, " well sometimes I just want to look at 'em!"....

Just because I can, and I love the different varieties of calls / sound / tones..

I have met a lot of great call builders along the way ...

I'm just not going into the woods or fields chasing turkeys with a couple of calls... LOL

I also like a good hen box ... hen boxes have one of the most realistic yelps you will ever hear ... IMO

The same reason I have multiple diaphragm calls, it's about the pitch and sound.  Some days I may have to call hens to me, they like different frequencies, too.
Love the Lord God with all your heart, mind and soul.  Love others as yourself.

Let us be silent, so we hear the whisper of God.

No one cares how much you know, until they know how much you care.

Got to play a Mike Lapp henbox yesterday, had great hen, Jake and gobbler yelps in it. One sweet sounding call
