Well, I think our sinking ship has sailed for this year's contest...and it looks like the GOATS came up a bit short again this year. No problemo, though, as our gang fulfilled our annual goal of making things entertaining.
It also appears that everyone on the team (except Reflexl...who, as I understand it, hunted very little or didn't even get to hunt at all this spring) managed to tag at least one gobbler during their respective seasons. Congrats to all for that accomplishment...and also congrats to the rest of the teams, their team members, and all other OG members for their successes this spring, whether they resulted in harvested gobblers or not.
Barring unforeseen catastrophes or complications, we will perhaps reassemble sometime early next year to see who wants to play again in the 2026 contest. In the meantime, here's wishing the GOATS...and everybody throughout OG world...a safe and prosperous year ahead.
We are entering the "Old Gobbler Slow Season" and I would encourage everybody to stick around and participate on the site to keep things lively.
Regardless, may all of your dreams be filled with gobbles!
