First time ever trying this. Only this left to do is find some nice wood for the border. Thinking about some ambrosia maple to border it. Im happy with the way it came out for this being my first attempt at it. After I finish this up its back to turning some pots and strikers and trying to make something I'd buy myself.

I'd pay good money for that!!! Great job.
I killed a semi-color phased bird 2 years ago and I highly regret not getting something done like this. I was in a hurry to get to work and just saved a wing and the tailfan. A presentation like yours would have been so much more suitable.

Great job! You might now have a second income.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, tired, beat, thoroughly used up and totally worn out from chasing turkeys and loudly proclaiming; "WOW -- What a Ride!"

Awesome! Your first attempt blows my first attempt out of the water. Those are very time consuming and not an easy feat to pull off. My hat is off to you sir!

The prices I have seen for these, by the few who have taken on this challenging art form, fall between $650 and $1,200.
