In the Paddle Call/Long box, I have Poplar, Walnut, Chestnut, Big Leaf Maple and Butternut.  They all have Cedar lids.  They all sound great and I would be happy to have any of one of them. That said,  Poplar and Big Leaf Maple are my favorites with the Poplar being #1.
