I'm starting to get Florida flashbacks.

2 days hunting this finger ridge that is one of the "birdiest" places I've ever seen....  But, I've yet to see or hear a gobbler.

Thinking of trying another spot tomorrow.  But, they really aren't gobbling anywhere right now.  My famed and esteemed partner on this trip pulled one gobble out of a bird with a hooter this morning.  Got in towards the bird and never got any response to calling.

It's dang tough right now.

It's not you Don. I've hunted 3 days, heard one in the dark gobble where I am sure there are birds. They are in a weird phase here. Weather?, can't figure. I've hunted 19 hours in the past 3 days. They have to break soon! Good luck..

Actually heard a couple gobbling this morning.  Just not in the same zip code.  Public being what it is, there's 19 guys between here and either bird, so......
