What is the best red dot for a Savage 301 .410 turkey gun?  Thanks for any help!

I prefer a reflex style site with a green circle-dot reticle.  I think the holosuns are the only units that would fit my criteria currently.  I am running a swampfox kingslayer(discontinued).

An inexpensive but effective option is the Bushnell TRS-25. I've had one on my 12 gauge for over 5 years with no issue. Put one on a Savage 301 .410 3 years ago with no issue.

Delta point pro has served me well on most of my guns. A little pricey but definitely a quality sight

I just purchased this exact same gun and I mounted a burris FF3 on it.We will see how she does

So many good inexpensive options now.

I bought a Cylee Calf x1, has shake awake and auto off.

Zero issues would buy again!

You asked for the best and best in this case means expensive.

None more rugged and reliable than the Trijicon RMR except perhaps for the Aimpoint T2 but that is a bit bulky for the tiny .410.

Here is an RMR on mine.  Lots of states, airplanes, violent frozen side by side rides in the dark, rain, mud, and general abuse, never loses zero, never fails.

Holosuns rock and are pretty well priced. Currently using a 508t that's been running great for three years. I stay away from Swampfox these days after poor customer service and battery issues with two different optics.

Thanks for everyone giving some good ideas.  Will look at all these given.  Much appreciated!

For the cost, the sig romeo5. I wouldn't put a $200 reflex on a $200 gun personally.

I still don't know how these are legit but they are - I've ordered 3x now and all come sealed and packaged official and include energizer batteries giving me no indication of being counterfeit. They all have been bombproof too.

I run the Burris III on a 20 gauge Fieldmaster Remington and a Sightron SRS-2 on a 20 ga Stevens 301. Bought the Sightron for $119 few years back when on sale. No problems with either. The Sightron is a $300 sight on there site....got lucky on that one.

Like the Trijicon.  Obviously the pic rail is gone.  What is Sum Toys involvement?

Gooserbat

Overall the Burris ff3 is hard to beat.  Cyelee optic has a lot of options that will fit on the pic rails for $120+/- and from what I've experienced these are good for the money.
Nothing like seeing a kids eyes light up upon hearing that first gobble.

Boy, that's cheap enough to have me order one and figure it out!

Super price on the Sigs.  Notice you'll get the high mount I think.  I have one and it had been ok until this year but I may have an ammo problem.  Working on it.
