Spotted a lone Hen this morning at 10:30, know she was headed to a nest, before this complex was built, I walked site and found tracks, even as 400 building was being built, they would come thru, I guess she was born in the old field that was here. Red dot is where she went into tree line, blue dot is a large homeless camp. Have been watching a nice flock in woods on right of picture, they have summited plans for housing, she has to cross a 3 track major rail line, 70mph passenger trains every 15min. I cant imagine this Hen being able to raise a successful brood. Sad, this is the second flock of local turkeys who will be pushed out or killed by development.
