Finished this Ringed Gidgee trumpet up recently, extremely dense wood that makes a fantastic call.

Ringed Gidgee is one of the more difficult woods to obtain in any quantity. It has excellent tonal quality. It and mopani are two of my favorite trumpet yelper woods to use.  This is a nice one......

Thank you.....I was fortunate enough to locate some nice blanks, but it is not the easiest stuff to find that is for sure. It does sound nice too, I am enjoying messing with this one. I like Mopani too.
