Seeing some nice Tom's on the property. Things are looking up.
Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well-preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside, tired, beat, thoroughly used up and totally worn out from chasing turkeys and loudly proclaiming; "WOW -- What a Ride!"

  But is it really scouting if your sipping coffee on the deck?

No better way to sip coffee that I know of.

Nice pics!
I went scouting yesterday.  Found tracks in almost every place I stopped to check.  Saw one beauty of a gobbler, an 11-12" rope of a beard and he was a biggun.
Sure makes me wish our season opened sooner.
Love to hunt the King of Spring!
