A few years back I just showed up and bought a nonresident license with my state issued driver's license and hunter safety certificate.

Depends on what area of Wyoming. I've got my non resident license already. Applied online. And have bought one in the past over the counter.

I've just always showed up and bought it.

Might call them and double check.
Nothing like seeing a kids eyes light up upon hearing that first gobble.

Haven't been there since 2018.

Walked into a hardware store and bought one, back then.

No deadline for general license. You can buy one over the counter.
