The wood for the Flamed Box Elder was cut 20+ years ago by Mr. Harold Fowler. Kept as large slabs in his shop  and given to a select few call makers that were friends of Harold. For it too keep the red that amount of time is amazing, truly a special piece.

If I didn't have one already I'd be all over it, Paul's slates are top notch. Someone better jump on it before the OP decides to keep it.
