Conditioning calls?

I inherited a pot call and glass pot call that I'd like to condition. What's everyone's recommendations on what to use on the surface and the striker that came with them?

I've tried several methods, and personally, I prefer a stone to dress glass or Chrystal, and some 120 grit sandpaper to freshen the striker tip if it's wood.
