If one of those can't find the sweet spot on a pot then odds are it doesn't have one.

From left, bullfrog, frogwood, heavy hickory, heavy cedar, tulipwood, bloodwood, granadillo, snakewood, two piece snakewood, macassar ebony, honduras rosewood, marblewood, and locust. If I were to pick the one that's surprised me most out of that lineup I'd say it's the locust. Regardless of the wood, Jeff sure can turn one.

Congrats on a mighty fine flock. Jeff makes fine strikers!

Nice!

I have a bullfrog and a heavy cedar in the vest. Jeff builds an incredible striker.
A quality paddle caller will most run itself.  It just needs someone to carry it around the woods. Yoder409

I love the bullfrog. He's always sworn by granadillo and honduras rosewood. I got those today and now I know why. They'll smoke about anything. Now I just need a vest design where I can carry four pots and twenty strikers

Jeff makes best the sticks out there. If you can't kill a gobbler with those, you need a new pot call!

I had him make me a Honduras rosewood, great sounding striker. Also like the frogwood quite a bit.
