Title: Picked up the turkey picture online
Post by: Sir-diealot on May 17, 2020, 08:26:48 PM
I picked up the turkey picture online, hoping it will look as good in real life. I will have to have it stretched over a frame if I understand right, it is just on raw canvas again if I understand right.

Those are quite nice.  Assuming they are prints, it will be interesting to see how they arrive to you.  ...Can't imagine they would be on canvas,...but maybe so.

Looks really nice.  I especially like the one with the railroad, reminds me of a place I'd visit from my childhood.   Let's us know how it arrives, I may pick up one if all's good on arrival.

The header to the auction reads "HD print Wild turkeys modern Giant decorative art oil painting on canvas 24x32" So if I translate it right it should be canvas...... I think.

I like that one quite a bit as well as one I have seen done much like that in a winter scene. I would love to get all of them over time. I will be sure to do. Talking about art did you even take my suggestion about the table with any pots that may not work out the way you wanted?

I only ordered the one, I want to see what it looks like and will order more if I am satisfied. You can find them on both ebay and Wish except the snow one, that one will cost quite a bit more. Here is the snow one https://www.danchristgallery.com/train-tracks.html

This is the one I bought, was listed as last one from that seller, but you can find them if you search there. https://www.ebay.com/itm/HD-print-Wild-turkeys-modern-Giant-decorative-art-oil-painting-on-canvas-24x32/253240767467?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
Here is train one on Wish https://www.wish.com/wishlist/5a568b67fe01f53c204a30fe/product/5c6fa3279027bb0e748c50d8?source=wishlist_feed&position=5&share=web

Here is the turkey walking on Wish https://www.wish.com/wishlist/5a568b67fe01f53c204a30fe/product/5d3eb424121d0e10295c95cc?source=wishlist_feed&position=7&share=web

Here is the one I bought on ebay also on Wish. https://www.wish.com/wishlist/5a568b67fe01f53c204a30fe/product/59ca361d94282b06a1309edd?source=wishlist_feed&position=6&share=web

Nice pictures.

I believe my parents have a print of the same one that you bought. I got my "Soggy Bottom Boys" and "King of the Ridge" painting up in the living room last week finally. Still moving in even after being here six months.

My wife and I purchased a print on our honeymoon that we have saved in case we had a little boy one day. After having 3 girls, I wish the print was a little different and had a girl in it instead of a boy. We decided we would get it framed and hopefully give it to one of our daughters if they have a son one day.

Look up RJ McDonald's "Tom Foolery"

He sure does and I am a copycat, after seeing this ordered the same one and a couple others, thanks for the heads-up Steve.

You're lucky to have such a blessing as children, never met the woman I wanted to have them with myself until I got with the one I am with now and she can't have any as she has already been through the change. I do not think it would be fair to a child to have me as a father anymore anyway, I am to busted up ad can't do a lot of the things a father should do with their children.

I am sure your daughters will enjoy passing the picture on to their boy if they have one.

I wish the walls in this house were better, I would have a lot of pictures up but anything I get has to be pretty lightweight or the walls will not hold it.

Thank you for the compliment, I have always liked outdoors art, if the walls in this house were better I would have a lot more stuff up.

Hope we both like them, nothing livens a rood like good outdoor art (Except for family pictures) Make sure you show the ones you get when you get them.
