Guy's I've TOTALLY depended on Mr. Harold Fowler for stinkers, being he's went on home to the Lord whom else make a great solid striker.

Mr. Fowler was my guy as well, so far I have not found one that I will buy from regularly.
His son has started making them and they will be the same quality as always.
check with jlh strikers
Clay Townsend also makes a fine striker ... his persimmon snakewood is awesome ....
I really like my Woodhaven strikers.
I ran some of Mr.Fowler's sons strikers at Unicoi and they were just like Mr.Fowler's.

Get with JLH here on the forum. He makes a stellar striker, it's like hooking an amp up to your call.
JLH on here and Clay Townsend's snakewood with persimmon top.

Good choice, think I will do the same
JLH strikers are nice. Neal's strikers sound great and you can choose straight or flared tip and Fred Cox strikers are great too. I have a heavy hickory from JLH, a Dymondwood from Neal, and a Tulip wood from Fred Cox. All three have improved my calling and in general my calling sucks but turkeys come to it occasionally.
Just ordered Jeff's(JLM) Heavy Hickory and Frogwood. We'll see how the run on next week Lord willing!
i ran a couple of Derek Fowlers Strikers (Harold's son) and they are great - picked up a couple also,
I really like Derrick Stuckey of Obession Custom Calls - I've used his strikers for years

Go this Fowleroutdoors.com then turkey calls and it has his contact info, he doesn't have the strikers on the site yet but has to update it. Said he has quite a few made already though.
I just got 2 dymondwood strikers from neal on here and I love them! They run great on everything from aluminum to slate and look pretty good too.
Neal probably makes my favorite. Love his tulipwood. Makes everything sound good. his ebony is really nice, also. An old primos laminate striker that came with a jackpot call works well for me, also...I've run the same kind from other packages that weren't near as good as the one I have, though. Maybe I just got lucky with a good one.
