What would one of these be worth to you?

$15?
Pretty cool though.
Depends on the significance of the shell. To just buy one at a flee market I'd probably spend 6-8 bucks on one. The shell from somebody's first or last bird, or other special occasion I'd probably drop a 20.
Really cool!
Thanks, not looking for $, just judging my worth. The few I've done have killed toms. Hevishot gold hulls seem to be the better canvas.
Cool idea! Looks great!
I will take 2. I like them
You have way more patience and talent than I do. I originally didn't realize the gobbler was part of the original shell. Looks great, and a great idea. Well done sir!
I prefer the one in the window, but they both are awesome!
Since it's hand done and takes time I'd go $30. Looks great by the way

They look great. I'd say 25-30 bucks.
That's very cool! And I. My opinion the craftsmanship is worth much, much more than what anyone above me has said.
what are the turkey made of?

X2 cool idea especially if it was a special shell

OP can correct me if I am wrong, but it appears to me that the turkey is made from the plastic hull and that it is still attached to the brass by the turkey feet as well.
Every time I see them I am in awe of your artistic abilities. You should post your other project!
Those are really cool. You have a lot of talent.

Which one? Sorry, not sure what you are referring to.
Thanks all. Those are straight up fired shells and the turkey is cut from the plastic with a little ink thrown in for shadows and details. Just sort of happen but I do use photos for reference to keep anatomy and proportions as close as possible.

You have a talent, those are nice.
Pretty awesome! If you fiqured a way to flip it, with the brass on top of the bird - that would make a really unique beard holder!
Very cool. How long do they take as that should drive price? My shell that killed a bird and the bird crafted as I last saw him....Easily $50
That is really cool!! Great craftsmanship there !
that's neat
Thata awesome. One would look awesome on my bar in the mancave.
That is extremely ????! You take orders yet?
I rarely see unique stuff such that I am overly impressed with it, but that is definitely one of the ones that is truly clever and impressive. What an imaginative idea! Great work, buddy! You have come up with an idea that would be a great "cottage industry". You will probably have more requests than you can handle!

The decoy or the cardboard cut outs. Take your pick!
Now that is pretty dang cool! I'd like to have one to add to my 'all things turkey' collection.
I like it. But then again, I always love "repurposed" stuff!
Yet again you never cease to amaze me. Great work and great vision for out of the box thinking. People like you definitely have a special gift of invision.
Based on time to craft, worth as much as any custom pot call.
Wow, I sure didn't expect this sort of reception. Thanks to all for the kind words.
Didn't think this far out at first but when I get a batch made up I'll place them in the Miscellaneous Classified and revive this thread if anyone is truly interested.
I think it's a great idea, very cool. I think it would be kind of cool to see the brass on top with the intent of using it as a beard holder also.
Now that's pretty cool.
Very cool.
I like them too! Very creative and no shortage of material to work with! I'm willing to bet this is one idea that will be hard pressed to be copied. I think your onto something sweet, as long as it doesn't take a month to make one.lol

I'd buy one I have shadow box with a painted feather picture back ground and set of spurs that this would look cool inside as well. Especially since a hevi shot shell was the shell used on that hunt.

I'd say 20+ dollars from a turkey hunter.
I would buy one!

Dang, pretty sharp.
I can draw a circle.
These are awesome. Great job!! I would imagine someone might pay $15-20?

I would buy one IF I could send you the shell to use.

Again, I am utterly amazed at your craftsmanship!
Do you think that it would be possible to drill out the old primer and use this as a beard holder?
Thank you. For sure. I use shells for that all the time. Just pop the primer out with an old phillips head screwdriver. I am going to attempt an inverted shell next for a beard holder as already suggested here by steelerfan. Will post if it turns out.
You've definitely got a heck of a talent. All your projects you've posted over on scducks proves that beyond a shadow of a doubt.

So cool!! I have about 30 hevi shot hulls from toms ive killed... even some old whites!
Do you have a price ???

Another one. Think I'll call this one "Shoot!"

Very cool
Ok tell us what you would do one of our shells for - name the price - and give me a slot in line. I would love to have one of my Iowa state record bird - a triple full bearded bird!!!

That is simply Bad Azz right there!!! You have a GIFT!!!
That one is the best one so far in my opinion.

It is quite talent to see a Turkey in spent shotgun hull.
Have you tried a 20gauge hull yet?
Sent from my SM-N960U using Tapatalk
You would know it, I cleaned the shop out about a month before I started doing these. Threw away a grocery bag full of spent shells, duh.
This is good stuff. Be awesome to have guys send their own to be done and use for a beard holder like someone else mentioned

How long does it take you to do one?
20-30 minutes. A red federal shell ain't the best but that's what I was down to today. They are thicker walled, harder to carve. Won't be any beard holders either, don't think it would work or too much trouble. Will just continue with variations of up right toms mainly. I do think flying quail or doves would be very doable though.
I figured it would be hours. Those are really cool, and I'm sure you could move a lot of them if you wanted to pursue it.
You have a lot of talent. Sure you could n
Make some money off of them.
