I just like the cotton mill. That's what i got from the Mossy Oak store. I got mine in green leaf. All these people who sell camo pants are so thin, if you hang them on something you have either a nice sagg or hole.

I'm with Greg, but we hunt pretty similar terrain. I want the heaviest cotton I can get. It's kind of nice to walk through a bunch of briars and not worry about your legs bleeding and pants shredding. For the last six years I've been wearing a pair of prototype pants we made when I was at Avery. Very heavy cotton twill and reinforced with an extra layer at the primary contact points.

Basically, I want my turkey pants heavy enough to almost stand up on their own when they are new. Think about those kids jeans mom used to buy. Think they were called "toughskins." Obviously if all of your hunting is deep woods or open country, you would probably prefer the light, thin stuff. A lot of places I hunt, you are pretty well guaranteed to be bleeding just trying to get into the woods to start hunting.

yeah, I hunt alot in the woods as well with thick vegetation and am looking for some good cotton preferably. How has the Cottonmill held up for you?

I have a couple pairs of the cotton mill pants. One pair has to be 8 years old. A little faded but I had them on this morning.

If cotton is OK and you're looking for durability, go with the Browning Wasatch series hands down. I've got one pair in particular that I've had since 2010 and they've survived several deer and turkey seasons. Some of the new Mossy Oak pants I bought this spring are already trying to separate at the seams.

I love wearing first lite kanabs in ASAT really blends to the forrest floor and a greanleaf shirt which blends well against a trunk of a tree. the kanabs are durable as all get out, but can get a little wet if you dont take packable rain gear and hit some rain or wet grass.

I have not had much luck with sizing in those pants too big or too small.  I got a pair of ol tom expensive but they hold their color, are tougher than you think and easy to layer up or down.  Nice pocket layout for me as well.  The box call holder fits my GPS just right in case I am wanting to not take as much stuff in with me.

Ripped my pair of cotton mills in the crotch area not 3 weeks into the season... Bought a pair of ol toms. I love them but they already have a few little holes from briars and what not not overly satisfied with either. Like the ol Tom layout though. They were on sale through Midwest turkey call supply recently though.

I like the Ol Tom Technical Dura-Lite clothing.  It's worked very well for me this year...

I like thin pants for when it gets hot. A size big so I can put other pants on underneath. I've been wearing the Ol'tom pants this season and love them. Paid $50 at the NWTF convention.

The browning Wasatch bottomland pants are a great product.  They'll hold up well and    are perfect in tone.

If also hunted the Tibbee 2 pants a lot this year and have been very impressed with them.  Probably have 10-12 hunts in the Tibbees and they are holding up well.

I think Ol Tom gear is overpriced and will not hold up to intense use where briars and other prickly fauna persist.  I bought a pair of their turkey gloves earlier this season and they're junk.

I just went to Wal-Mart and bought a pair of cotton mossy oak break up pants for like 9 bucks after deer season closed. Btw go to Wal-Mart when Turkey season closes for hot deals! I got a funkey chicken, a crow call and a box call all for under 18 bucks!

I wanted to send an update to this thread. I ended up purchasing the Browning Wasatch pants and matching shirt in Bottomland and let me tell you the quality is very nice. They are a little thick, but from what I can tell well worth the money and should hold up well for turkey and deer. Thank you all for your opinions and feedback. I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm a little late to the party but those pants are the best cotton bottomland pants you can get your hands on. They're much better than the cotton mill pants. The tibbee pants are junk. When the weather heats up I suggest going with the ol tome duralite pants, now that trek lite is no longer available for MO. It's basically the same material.

Concur. I bought several sets of the Wasatch MOBU. The quality is there. Hope they don't quit making them.

I saw at one time Dickies started making camo clothing but I've never see it in stores. I usually wear their pants and really like the way they wear. Not too heavy and they dry fast too. Anyone know if they still make camo?

Are the wasatch pants actually cut to fit normal people? Everything from mossy oak is super baggy

Maybe I just got luck but I sure love my tubbee 2 pants. Worn the caro out of this year an still goin strong. Have 2 pairs of cotton mills.  Like em a lot.  Like the wasatch pants 2, and the ok tom.   Guess I have all of those.

I reverse, wash on cold an hand wash on the washing machine, and I hang dry.  Idont have problems with fading.

Yes, the Wasatch pants fit like your normal pair of pleated khakis. The mossy oak cotton mill 2's fit much better than the original cotton mill pants as well. The original cotton mills fit like parachute pants.
